ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF GOVERNING BOARD FOR 2019-2021
INFORMATION & SCHEDULE
Dear SAE WIG Members of Indore Division,
I am pleased to inform you that SAEINDIA Western India Group (Western Section) in their Governing Board (GB) meeting held on 29-Nov-2018 at Pune decided to conduct elections to elect 15 members for the GB to run the affairs of Indore Division of SAEINDIA Western India Group (Western Section) during the next period viz., 2019-2021 as tenure of current GB is coming to an end on 31-Mar-2019. Western India Group (Western Section) Governing Board, through an Unanimous Resolution also appointed “Mr Ramesh S Pasarija, a former Secretary of SAEINDIA and currently working with SAE Western India Group, to be the Election and Returning officer to conduct the Elections and he has accepted the assignment”.
Earlier, elections schedule was announced, which was starting from 19-Jan-2019 and ending on 07-Mar-2019. However, many members have requested to reschedule this in view of BAJA and other activities in Indore Division during Third week of January 2019. With the permission of the Chairman, the schedule is revised as below.
SAEINDIA Western India Group (Western Section) Members from Indore Area who are on rolls upto 28th February 2019 alone will be eligible to contest and also participate in the Election Process. As per the bye-laws of SAEINDIA, only Fellow, Honorary member and Members are eligible to contest and vote in the Election of the Members of the Governing Board. Associate and Affiliate members cannot participate in the election process including proposing and seconding a nominee. Similarly, Past Chairmen of the Section and Past President of SAEINDIA cannot contest but can propose or second a nominee.
The following time table shall be followed
1. Issue of Nomination forms along with this circular - 31st January 2019 (Thursday)
2. Last date for receipt of Nominations - 01st March 2019 (Friday)
3. Scrutiny of Nominations - 04th March 2019 (Monday)
4. Withdrawal of Nomination - 07th March 2019 (Thursday)
5. Dispatch of Ballot Papers to Members - 08th March 2019 (Friday)
6. Last date of receipt of Ballot Papers - 28th March 2019 (Thursday)
7. Counting of Votes & announcement of results to Secretary - 30th March 2019 (Saturday)
All members should indicate their membership numbers. Members should have RENEWED their Annual Membership by paying the dues on or before 28th February, 2019 to participate in the election process. Please also note that each member’s validity of the membership till the election results are announced, is maintained (for whose expiry falls after their nominations are sent).
Nomination forms are also available from 31st January, 2019 in the SAEINDIA Western India Group (Western Section) office in Pune. The forms can also be obtained from the Chairman / Secretary of the Section or can be downloaded from our websites www.saeindia.org. The completed nomination form should be sent as hard copy or a scanned soft copy to Ramesh S Pasarija, SAEINDIA Western India Group (Western Section) Election and Returning officer, c/o SAEINDIA office, S.No. 95/2, Wisteriaa Fortune, Office No.C-407 & C-408, Mouje- Wakad, Tal.- Mulshi, Pune- 411057 so as to reach him by 5 pm on or before 04th Mar 2019” through post or courier or by person or scanned soft copy by mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. In case you are sending a soft copy, hard copy however must reach the office before 28-Mar-2019.
