Mr. M.S.Kumar is presently the Chairman & CEO of Precimax Tech Pvt Ltd, Chairman, Camp Tech Pvt Ltd and Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Magal Engg. Tech Pvt Ltd

He is a B.E. (Mech) with specialization in Automotive Engineering and an M.B.A (Mkg & Finance) with specialization in Marketing & Finance.

He started his career with Ashok Leyland and then switched over to Rane Group of companies and rose to the level of Member of Board of Directors & CEO Rane (Madras) Limited. and Rane TRW Steering Systems Limited (JV)and also as Member of Board of Directors & Director - In – Charge TRW Rane Occupant Restraint Systems Limited (JV) and Rane Auto Components Limited.

He was instrumental in competitively positioning Rane TRW against ZF (established 7 Years ahead) to capture dominant market share and market receptiveness.

His vision coupled with financial acumen enabled to form 2 JVs, 9 Technology agreements and most of them are market leaders in India. He spearheaded power steering system penetration in India including locally manufacturing critical components like all types power steering gears including Values and pumps. This has comprehensive manufacturing facility (only one in India and largest) to manufacture RCB Gears, Rack & Pinion gears, Pumps, Reservoirs and columns.

He later established Precimax group to manufacture high precision safety critical automotive application and design group of experts world wide. Business acumen, highly perceptive market orientation, immense technical skills and deep knowledge of all industries are his Key strengths.

• Was President of Madras Management Association during 2003 - 2004

• Was Chairman of Motor Vehicles & Allied Industries Association during 1995 – 97

• Was Chairman of India Road & Transport Association, Southern Region 1995 – 96

He is an active member of SAEINDIA and is in the Managing Committee of SAEINDIA from 2006 onwards holding different positions like Chair, Finance Board, Sr.V.P. and President.
